<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing workpiece coating films which can increase coating strength of a baking-finished film coating a workpiece, while enhancing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, a workpiece 1 made of ferrous casting is formed. Projection material is projected on surface 1a of the workpiece 1 to remove sand. By using electrodeposition coating, a polymer material-based uncured coating film 2 (Tg temperature: 80-150°C) is allowed to cover the surface 1a of the workpiece 1. The workpiece is charged into a heating chamber of heating furnace in which a heating source is provided and target temperature of inside temperature in the heating chamber is set to higher temperature side of 450-850°C. Then this uncured coating film 2 of the workpiece 1 is heated together with the workpiece 1, baking of the uncured coating film is completed while inhibiting thermal degradation of the uncured coating film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
