WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus or the like capable of preventing generation of bubbles such as oxygen in water to be treated and decomposing organic material included in the water to be treated at high efficiency.

SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus decomposing organic material included in water to be treated includes: an oxygen dissolving tank 31 bringing air or oxygen into contact with the water to be treated at a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure; and a photocatalyst device 32 including a photocatalyst and decomposing the organic material by bringing the photocatalyst into contact with the water to be treated at a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure while irradiating the water to be treated into contact with the air or oxygen by the oxygen dissolving tank 31 with ultraviolet rays.
