The method involves feeding a packaging material to a feed roller of a packaging machine. A cover element (93) is adhered with a shrink film and a stretch film, where the cover element is a label, tag or strip (96). An opening (94) is formed in the packaging material. The packaging material is sealed during packaging of a product. The cover element is provided with a standard unit and a laser cutting unit. A hole is drilled in the packaging material. A sealing unit and a heating unit i.e. shrink tunnel, are provided on the packaging material. Perforations (97) are formed in the opening. The packaging material is made of ethylene-vinyl alcohol, ethylene vinyl acetate, polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, nylon, polyamide, polyester or copolymers. An independent claim is also included for a device for packaging a product comprising a feeder feeding a packaging material. |
