<p>Disclosed is a lens for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus, wherein acoustic characteristics such as sonic velocity, acoustic impedance, and acoustic decay-rate are satisfied, and wherein a high abrasion resistance is exhibited. The lens for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus (2A) is provided with a base body (10A) that is formed of silicone rubber composition; and a urethane resin coating layer (11A) comprising 100 parts by mass of urethane resin and 3-7 parts by mass of silica, and which is arranged on the outer surface of the base body (10A). Also disclosed is a probe for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus (1A), wherein acoustic characteristics such as sonic velocity, acoustic impedance, and acoustic decay-rate are satisfied, and wherein a high abrasion resistance is exhibited. The probe for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is provided with a case (3); the lens for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus (2A) that is installed so as to have the front tip section thereof exposed at the end section of the case (3); a piezoelectric element (4) housed within the case (3); an impedance matching layer (5) arranged between the lens for an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus (2A) and the piezoelectric element (4); and a packing layer (6) arranged at a side of the piezoelectric element (4) that is opposite the face facing the impedance matching layer (5).</p> |
