<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high definition and high speed processing by enhancing impact accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet head 1 includes an air curtain mechanism 5 equipped with a fan, vents 6a-6d formed in front and rear and right and left of a nozzle region 4 in a nozzle face 2 having multiple nozzles 3 formed therein, and supply channels 7a-7d which supply air from the fan to the vents 6a-6d. An air curtain covering a space A between the nozzle region 4 and a recording medium M is formed by feeding an air flow generated from the fan through the supply channels 7a-7d to the vents 6a-6d and blowing the air flow from the vents 6a-6d. Since air flowing into the space A and flowing out therefrom is minimized, interior of the space A can be maintained in a predetermined uniform pressure range even if the inkjet head 1 is moved, and impact accuracy of ink droplet can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
