<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of size adjustment of an air gap, regarding an axial gap motor, a fluid machine containing the motor, and an assembly method of the fluid machine. <P>SOLUTION: A motor (30) has a positioning member (80) which has an open portion (80a) to adjust an air gap (G1) between an upper stator (31) and a rotor (37) to a prescribed size.
