<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation assist device for vehicle that does not interrupt driving operation of a driver when switching the control. <P>SOLUTION: The driving operation assist device for vehicle performs RP transmission control which controls gas pedal reactive force and driving and braking force generated in own vehicle based on risk potential with respect to an obstacle, and follow-up travel control which controls the driving and braking force of own vehicle to maintain distance to the obstacle. The driving and braking force correction control is performed, when the follow-up travel control is overridden by step down operation of the gas pedal and shifts to RP transmission control. Specifically, the driving operation assist device, compares the driving and braking force correction amount by RP transmission control with the driving and braking force correction control by follow-up travel control and computes a target deceleration in the driving and braking force correction control by subtracting the driver request driving force from a value of the smaller one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
