<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device in which the position of a character to be printed is prevented from being displaced. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal printer 1 includes: a thermal head 80; a transfer roller 71 for transferring a printing paper P to the thermal head 80; an optical detection unit 30 for detecting a movement amount of the printing paper P transferred by the transfer roller 71; and a control unit 10 for detecting an actual movement amount of the printing paper P on the basis of output from the optical detection unit 30, and for correcting the character spacing of two or more characters to be printed parallelly in the direction of transferring the printing paper P according to an estimated actual movement amount and a preset target movement amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
