BACTERIUM INVOLVED IN SUPPRESSION OF INCREASE OF MALARIA PARASITE, MALARIA THERAPEUTIC AGENT, AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacterium with which a suppressive substance suppressing an increase of a malaria parasite at an low cost and easily without the need for such a treatment by an expensive enzyme that a thick cell wall like Acromopeptidase is specifically decomposed.

SOLUTION: Provided is a bacterium belonging to either of the genus Ochrobactrum and the genus Serratia, which produces a suppressive substance suppressing an increase of malaria parasites. A malaria therapeutic agent having, as effective ingredient, a cultured material obtained by cultivating the bacterium belonging to either of the genus Ochrobactrum and the genus Serratia is also provided.
