<p>A method for producing alumina from metallurgical materials containing aluminium, comprises the following steps: decomposing the metallurgical materials containing aluminium with sulphuric acid to obtain aluminum sulfate solution, purifying aluminum sulfate solution, adding sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate into the purified aluminum sulfate solution to separate out aluminum hydroxide, calcining aluminum hydroxide to obtain alumina product, and regenerating the sodium carbonate, the sodium bicarbonate and the sulfuric acid. The method can regenerate sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate and sulfuric acid for reuse.</p> |
