The present invention relates to a constant current driving apparatus for LEDs. The constant current driving apparatus for LEDs comprises: a power source unit for supplying the power; a LED unit in which one or more LEDs are serially connected to each other and which radiates light using the power supplied from the power source unit; a current detection unit which is connected to an output terminal of the LED unit to detect the current applied to the LED unit; an error amplification unit which compares a current signal detected from the current detection unit with a predetermined first reference signal and amplifies and outputs an error signal according to the compared result; and a plurality of sequential driving control portions which is connected to one or more serial LEDs of the LED unit, compares the error signal amplified and outputted from the error amplification unit with a predetermined second reference signal, generates a sequential driving control signal on the basis of the compared result to control a light-emitting operation or off operation of each of the LEDs connected to each other in the LED unit. Accordingly, the present invention enables the configuration of a high power factor lighting device in a circuit using sinusoid power, in which a lifetime of the lighting device is lengthened since an electrolytic capacitor used in the prior art is not used therein, and low-priced lighting devices can be manufactured due to the simply configured circuits. |
