The lighting device (1) has multiple lamps (2), where each lamp has housing and a diode emitting light in the environment by an upper surface of the housing. The housing has an inlet and an outlet for the fluid, by which the housing is cooled. A line for the fluid connects the housing of the lamp. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lamp with a diode carrier; and (2) a method for operating a lighting device.
