A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ELECTROKINETIC REMEDIATION OF HEAVY METALS CONTAMINATED SOILS WITH IMPROVED ELECTRODE ARRAY AND ELECTRIC POWER MODE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for electrokinetic remediation of heavy metal contaminated soils with a two dimensional electrode array and a half-wave rectification and full-wave rectification connected hybrid power supplying method are provided to improve the operational efficiency of the method and to reduce the number of electrodes. CONSTITUTION: Soil sample is collected from a purifying target contaminated place(S10) . The total concentration of heavy metal contaminants are verified from the soil sample, and the contaminated degree of the soil sample is verified(S20). The concentrations of the heavy metal contaminants by kinds are analyzed(S30). The operation periods of half-wave rectification and full-wave rectification are calculated. The operation period which successively applies half-wave rectification power and full-wave rectification power, is determined the occupied ratio of heavy metals of a strong bond form in contaminated soil.
