<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling apparatus that allows a sub-CPU alone to confirm operation just by addition of a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A controlling apparatus for an electronic device comprises one of or both a first function unit for transmitting data to a main CPU and a second function unit for receiving data from the main CPU, and comprises a data communication unit for controlling the communication between the main CPU and the first function unit and the second function unit. The controlling apparatus further comprises a simplex operation controlling unit for, in a simplex operation mode, switching a data route for connection between the data communication unit and the main CPU to be directed to the simplex operation controlling unit and for simulating the operation of the main CPU including the data reception at the first function unit or the data transmission to the second function unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
