<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor control apparatus including a transmission to prevent an internal combustion engine from continuing high rotation for long hours when a speed change command to a first speed is instructed and to improve durability of the transmission by reducing load to a speed change gear. <P>SOLUTION: When the speed change command to the first speed is output from a speed change command output unit for outputting a speed change command in response to an operator's manipulation in this outboard motor control apparatus including the transmission, the gear position is changed from the first speed to the second speed (S114) when a throttle valve of the internal combustion engine is determined to be in the vicinity of a fully-opened opening (S102) and the internal combustion engine is determined to be in a prescribed operating state (S112). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
