<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device that is capable of appropriately preventing consumption of standby power at an electric appliance. <P>SOLUTION: A power on/off switch 3 performs switching between cutoff and connection of a power supply line to a connected electric appliance in accordance with an instruction of a control unit 6. The control unit 6 stores measurement data, in which a result of measurement by a current measurement unit 4 and a current date and time are associated with each other, in a predetermined memory. Also, the control unit 6 judges whether the electric appliance is in a stand-by state and, when a result of the judgement is affirmative, further judges whether it is necessary to stop power supply to the electric appliance based on the contents of measurement data in the past. Also, the control unit 6 judges whether it is necessary to start the power supply based on the contents of the measurement data in the past. When the control unit 6 has judged that it is necessary to stop the power supply, switching means cuts off the power supply line and when the control unit 6 has judged that it is necessary to start the power supply, the switching means connects the power supply line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
