<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact electric vehicle for preventing the damage of a battery charger, a power code, a power plug and a power outlet for a commercial AC power source while a secondary battery is charged. <P>SOLUTION: The compact electric vehicle 1 includes: a motor 19 driven by power supplied from the secondary battery 18; a gear unit 22 for transmitting the power generated by the motor 19 to a rear wheel 5; a clutch mechanism 23 for disconnecting the gear unit 22 and the rear wheel 5; a clutch sensor 53 for detecting a disconnected state of the gear unit 22 by the clutch mechanism 23; and an alarm device 55 for making an alarm when the clutch sensor detects that the gear unit 22 is disconnected by the clutch mechanism 23 in the clutch sensor 53 while the secondary battery 18 is being charged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
