<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of more intuitively grasping a route to a destination hereafter to be followed without missing a current place grasped by the user, a distance feeling and a direction feeling based on this current place. <P>SOLUTION: A transition resultant map image G12 making a plain face map image to incline to the depth side by such an inclination angle θ that a next route point I enters inside a display area A of a display 16 around an inclination axis L which is perpendicular to a straight line l passing the current place P and the next route point I on a plain face map image G11 and also passing the current place P, and a transition process map image making the plain face map image G11 to incline around the inclination axis L by an inclination angle θn (=θ/(N+1)×n, n=1, ..., N), are plotted by the navigation apparatus 1, and the map image to be displayed on the display area A is transited in order of "plain face map image G11 →transition process map image (θ1→θN)→transit resultant map image G12". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
