<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium stack tray that can be housed in a compact manner. <P>SOLUTION: The medium stack tray comprises a stacking member 10 that stacks a sheet medium to be wound in a roll, a winding mechanism 20 that winds the stacking member into a roll, a regulating mechanism 30 that regulates the pulled-out stacking member from being wound by the winding mechanism, and a releasing mechanism 40 that releases regulation for winding the stacking member by the regulating mechanism.
