<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damaging of a sheet surface, and to prevent nipping and folding-bending of a sheet end part. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet registering device includes a bottom plate 41 arranged substantially horizontally and supporting a sheet, and a width guide member 43 movably arranged in the orthogonal direction to the sheet carrying direction and regulating a position in the orthogonal direction to the sheet carrying direction. The bottom plate 41 includes a lifting member 44 smaller in the contact area with the sheet than the sheet area and liftably arranged to the bottom plate 41. When regulating the position in the orthogonal direction to the sheet carrying direction by the width guide member 43, the lifting member 44 rises from a bottom plate surface, and regulates the position by moving in the orthogonal direction to the sheet carrying direction in a state of floating the sheet (unillustrated) by a predetermined quantity from the bottom plate surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
