<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding pocket of a turret packaging machine capable of securely preventing falling out of a packaged object from the holding pocket. <P>SOLUTION: The holding pocket 51 is formed to have a rectangular parallelepiped shape having an opening end 50 allowing reception of a semi-wrapped pack 118 of a filter cigarette bundle where wrapping by a wrapping material is incomplete, and includes an upper wall 52, a bottom wall 54, right and left side walls 56, 57 and an end wall 58. A rectangular upper opening 62 is provided on the upper wall 52.
