<p>Disclosed is an accelerator pedal device comprising a rotation member (40), a locking mechanism (50), and an intermittent interlocking member (60), all of which serve as reaction force adding mechanisms that add reaction forces counteracting accelerator pedal depressing forces, said rotation member (40) being capable of moving relative to a pedal arm, said locking mechanism (50) capable of locking the rotation member when an accelerator pedal is at an arbitrary depressing position, and said intermittent interlocking member (60) operating in such a way that the rotation member is interlocked with the pedal arm when the locking mechanism is not in operation, that a reaction force is added with respect to an accelerator pedal depressing action during actuation of the locking mechanism, that furthermore, the reaction force is reduced or removed while releasing the interlocking of the rotation member by means of the elastic deformation caused by a depressing force which overcomes the reaction force, that thereby rotation of the pedal arm is allowed, and that as a consequence, the rotation member is intermittently interlocked with the pedal arm. On the basis of the above, a reaction force can be added at an arbitrary pedal depressing position, and therefore, it is possible to take an eco-friendly drive wherein fuel consumption improvement can be achieved.</p> |
