OPTICAL COUNTING MACHINE FOR PAPER MONEY

PURPOSE: An optical money counter is provided to accurately count paper money by scanning the end of paper money. CONSTITUTION: A scanning device moves in a vertical direction to a laminate direction of the end of paper money and radiates light. If the light is reflected from the end of the laminated paper money, the scanning device receives the reflected light and outputs an electric signal. A filtering device(112) removes a noise of an electric signal. An ADC(Analog-Digital Converter)(114) converts the filtered electric signal to a digital signal. A counter(116) counts the paper money according to the digital signal.
