PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Brasenia schreberi J.F. Gmel. is provided to enhance collagen synthesis and to ensure antioxidation without side effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for anti-wrinkling contains 0.1-10 wt% of Brasenia schreberi J.F. Gmel. and additionally contains conventional cosmetic ingredients. The cosmetic composition is formed in an aqueous phase or oil phase. The aqueous phase additionally contains moisturizer, purified water, bivalent metal salt, hydrophilic non-ionic surfactant, or water solution polymers. The oil phase additionally contains higher alcohol, oil-soluble polymers, ceramide or derivative thereof, and cholesterol or derivative thereof.
