IONIC COPOLYMER FROM AQUEOUS DISPERSION POLYMERIZATION, ITS METHOD OF PREPARATION AND DISPERSION MEDIA FOR POLYMERIZATION OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An Ionic copolymer by aqueous dispersion polymerization is provided to manufacture polymer having relative high concentration, and maintain the viscosity of reacting mixture with convenient level before and after reaction. CONSTITUTION: An ionic copolymer by aqueous dispersion polymerization is manufactured by dispersion polymerization of polyethylene glycol-based macro monomer and ethylenically unsaturated monomer in dispersion medium including water, on the presence of kosmotrope salt and polymer dispersing stabilizer. The ionic copolymer comprises: 1-60mol% anionic recurring unit from polyethylene glycol-based macro monomer and ethylenically unsaturated monomer; 5-94mol% nonionic recurring unit from the monomers; and 5-94% cationic recurring unit from the monomers.
