PURPOSE: A robot device for assisting training and a method for assisting training are provided to present a specialized training program to a user and to help the user to perform the training program. CONSTITUTION: A method for assisting training comprises: a step of measuring the body information of a user according to a sensor unit(120) of the user; a step of detecting training information corresponding to the body information by using a training program table; a step of determining the location of an exercise device corresponding to the training information according to a predetermined method by using the sensor unit; and a step of starting operation.
