COLOR REGION SEGMENTATION SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A split system of a color region for an intelligent transportation system is provided to perform an iterative operation process based on a result from the analysis of various outer environmental factors, thereby improving accuracy of a color region split result. CONSTITUTION: A color region observation module(100) senses color information. A color space transformation module(200) transforms output information of the color region observation module into an HSI(Hue Saturation Intensity) color space. A parameter initialization module(300) initializes a parameter which is to be used in a stochastic color clustering module. The stochastic color clustering module(400) uses the initialized parameter and HIS color information. A collar region split module(500) extracts final color segmentation information.
