PURPOSE: A secondary battery case is provided to improve connecting strength and sealability between a main case body and cap plate due to double-welded structure and double-sealing structure by equipping additional sealing material on the junction surface between the main case body and the cap plate. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery case comprises: a main case body(10) in which an electrode assembly is accepted, and upper part is opened; a cap plate(20) installed on the opened part of the main case body; and a sealing member(50) on the junction surface between the main case body and the cap plate additionally. An installation groove is formed on the junction surface. A sealing material is inserted and installed in the installation groove. The sealing material is formed continuously along the circumference of the junction surface. |
