<p>The method involves altering register adjustments of an imaging cylinder (26,27) of a printing unit (1,2,3,4,5) corresponding to a predetermined length change of a print image to avoid a divergence of print images of multiple printing units. The alteration of the register adjustments is carried out depending on a length (I-12,I-23,I-34,I-45) of a printing substrate (9) between the printing units. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling register of a printing machine.</p> |
