PURPOSE: A sink roll for CGL coating with high-strength and brittle-resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the strength of the sink roll by removing residual stress through heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: A sink roll for CGL coating with high-strength and brittle-resistance comprises a roll shaft(20) which rotatably supports the sink roll. The roll shaft comprises C 0.13-0.5 weight%, Cr 11.0-12.0 weight%, Cu 0.1-1.0 weight%, Ni 0.1-3.0 weight%, Mo 0.1-3.0 weight%, Nb 0.01-1.0 weight%, and residual Fe. The roll shaft is separated from a mold over A3 or ACM transformation point. |
