According to an aspect of the present invention, a fetch module implemented in a data access tier of a multi-tier application fetches from a data store only the set of objects specified by a request received from a process module implemented in a business logic tier of the multitier application, and provides the fetched objects as a response to the request. The set of objects specified in the request is according to the requirements of a business use case (specifying a sequence of interactions between the multi-tier application and users) according to which the process module is implemented. |
