PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-fungus resin container having high safety and capable of maintaining an anti-fungus effect for a long period of time and, moreover, exhibiting its anti-fungus effect not only for a surface portion of the container but also for contents and the like which are not in direct contact with the container. SOLUTION: The anti-fungus resin container is formed of a resin composition including anti-fungus components. A mixture is burned which includes, as main components, silicon oxide and aluminum oxide, both being formed into ultrafine particles of at most 20 nm in an average particle size and also includes at least one kind of a metallic oxide selected from among groups consisting of iron oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, and titanium oxide, magnesium oxide and phosphorus oxide, thereby forming a burned product including the silicon oxide and the aluminum oxide in the proportions of at least 40 wt.% and at most 80 wt.% of the silicon oxide and at least 10 wt.% and at most 50 wt.% of the aluminum oxide. The particles of the burned product thus prepared, whose average particle size is at most 2 μm, are used as the anti-fungus components. |
