PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing cylinder which facilitates easy reading of identification information provided even when the cylinder is smeared with an ink, an oil or the like and dispenses with the coordination of conditions such as the quantity of a printing material like the ink to be applied to a printing plate and the mixing ratio of a plurality of colors in a printing process by a manual labor each time the printing is performed. SOLUTION: An IC tag 12 for information to be written in and read out in a non-contact state is fixed inside a cylinder 10 of a printing cylinder with a stud 15. Then the identification information by which the printing cylinder can be identified, is written into the IC tag 12 and the printing cylinder is stored and managed by making the printing cylinder correspond to the identification information. In addition, the conditions of the printing process are written into the IC tag 12 as printing information. |
