PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to arrange a reflection preventing film structure by successively limiting multiple thin films with different refractive indices, thereby minimizing a surface reflection rate. CONSTITUTION: A first conductive type crystalline silicon substrate(201) is prepared. A second conductive type semiconductor layer(203) is arranged on the upper part of the substrate. A first antireflection film(204) and second antireflection film(205) with different refractive indices are arranged on the semiconductor layer. A front electrode(206) penetrates the first and second antireflection films. A rear electrode(207) is included on the rear surface of the substrate.
