A mobile communication system and a method for providing location information of a mobile station of serving a GPRS support node are provided to supply the location information of a mobile station to a gateway device at a regular interval. A network control processor(341) processes a GTP(GPRS Tunneling Protocol) message, and an access network processor(342) manages the resources between an SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) and an RNC(Radio Network Controller). A packet handler(343) processes a traffic, and a storage unit(344) stores the location information of each MS(Mobile Station) according to the control from an SGSN controller(345). |
