PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling bandwidth in Ethernet are provided to increase a transmission efficiency of data transmitted in an Ethernet environment. CONSTITUTION: A data detecting unit(210) detects data to transmit to multimedia data and control information data according to the predetermined method. A traffic tracking unit(220) calculates a traffic generation amount per data and the best instant traffic amount of control information data. A traffic restriction unit(230) limit transmission of exceeding traffic. |
