<p>A surgical needle (54) comprises of an elongate needle body and a needle point (50) formed on a distal end of the needle body. The needle body is manufactured in particular from an elongate cylindrical blank. The needle body has a textured profile lateral face (38) which comprises of a textured profile lateral face region (24) provided with a textured profile. The textured profile comprises of multiple indentations (26') and in which the textured profile lateral face region extends as far as the needle point. An independent claim is also included for a manufacturing method of surgical needle.</p> |
