PURPOSE: A device for exhaust gas recirculation for reducing NOx is provided to discharge exhaust gas according to legal standard by properly controlling EGR valve according to a drive area of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A device for exhaust gas recirculation for reducing NOx comprises an EGR valve(12), an exhaust gas self-testing device(13), a NOx sensor(14) and an EGR control unit(15). The EGR valve is installed in the outlet side of a cooling device(11). The EGR valve is opened and closed in order to control the exhaust gas circulation amount to an engine. The exhaust gas self-testing device is installed in the vehicle. The exhaust gas self-testing device saves the engine information including the load and RPM of an engine and The NOx sensor is installed in the outlet side of the engine. The NOx sensor measures the nitric oxide exhausted from the engine. The EGR control unit controls the opening angle of the EGR valve.
