PURPOSE: A band plate typed steer column collapse absorbing device is provided to reduce production costs by integrating a capsule and band play to simplify the whole structure of an impact absorbing unit. CONSTITUTION: In a band plate typed steer column collapse absorbing device, a band plate(2) is protruded from the both sides of a mounting block mounted in a steering column housing had a bent in protruded part. A capsule plate(1) is formed in the band plate to be one body and is comprised of a capsule band while being inserted into the coupling end. |
