PURPOSE: A height controller is provided to freely control the vertical moving speed of a cylinder rod by adjusting the amount of oil. CONSTITUTION: A height controller comprises a cylinder(100), a cylinder rod(200), and a mounting head(300). The cylinder rod includes a rod outer tube(210), a rod inner tube(220), an expanding tube(230), a movable piston(240), a finishing cork(250), and an oil passage opening and closing valve(260). The expanding tube is connected to the lower end of the rod inner tube. A first oil chamber(231) receives oil. The movable piston elevates with the outer circumference of the expanding tube. A second oil chamber(241) is formed in the finishing cork. The finishing cork includes an air chamber(251) in which compressed air between the rod outer tube and the expanding tube is received. The oil passage opening and closing valve elevates in the rod inner tube.
