PURPOSE: A compression device for assembling and disassembling a gas spring is provided to smoothly compress or stretch a gas spring by providing buffer power by a spring. CONSTITUTION: A compression device for assembling and disassembling a gas spring comprises a housing(1), a rod(2), a spring(7), a position fixing bolt(3), a stopper(4), a length adjusting nut(6), and a rotating cylinder(5). The rod is inserted into the housing. The spring is installed between the stopping protrusion(1a) of the housing and the supporting protrusion(2a) of the rod. The spring supplies elastic force so that the rod smoothly operates with given pressure. The position fixing bolt determines initial position depending on the length of the gas spring. The stopper fixes the lower mount of the gas spring to prevent the separation of the gas spring. |
