PURPOSE: A method for purifying non-diffusion botulinum toxin with local muscular paralytic effect is provided to ensure quick and continuous muscular paralysis. CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying non-diffusion botulinum toxin comprises: a step of performing anion ion-exchange resin chromatography of purified botulinum toxin type A formulation to isolate a sub-fraction; and a step of obtaining non-diffusion botulinum toxin fraction which maintains A260/A280 value at 0.4-0.6. The non-diffusion botulinum toxin contains at least 150ppb of Zn ion, at least 80ppb of Fe ion, and at least 140ppb of Mg ion per 100U/ml of the toxin.
