PURPOSE: A device for measuring temperature of material is provided to improve accuracy on temperature measurement regardless of the generation of scales by detecting the temperature of a material using a direct-contact method. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring temperature of material comprises a temperature detection part(110), a temperature measuring part and a presser part(130). The temperature detection part is infiltrated in the side of the material(1) extracted from a furnace. The scale formed on the surface of material is removed by the pointedly formed temperature detection part. The temperature detection part comprises the cone part and a stopper contacting with the material. The stopper is projected to the outside of the temperature detection part. The stopper restricts the penetration of the temperature detection part into the material. The temperature detection part is filled with the filler. The filler transfers the heat, delivered through the temperature detection part, to the temperature measuring part. The presser part pressurizes the temperature detection part in order to penetrate the temperature detection part into the material.
