IDENTIFYING COMMUNITIES IN AN INFORMATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method and system for distinguishing a community within information network are provided to supply a disk-sensitive algorithm for determining hidden communities within graphs by irradiating connectivity between hidden community decision and expander graphs. CONSTITUTION: Nodes and edges are collected from information network(602). The sequence of nodes is generated by performing random walk on the nodes(604). Sequence database is generated from the sequences(606). Patterns are determined by mining sequence database based on a pattern mining algorithm(608). The patterns distinguishes communities within information network.
