PURPOSE: A traffic information client device is provided to reduce a storage space and improve register access performance by distributing information to a plurality of relations. CONSTITUTION: An interface(11) receives a traffic information message. The traffic information message includes a location code which identifies the location of a traffic event. A processing unit(13) is applied to query a relation database(20) with the location code received with the traffic information message. The processing unit identifies a location category of the received location code. The location information related to the location code is searched from the relation database.
