PURPOSE: A black box system for a vehicle using a solar cell is provided to enable a user outside a vehicle to monitor and manage a black box by applying wireless and wire communication functions to the black box system. CONSTITUTION: A black box system for a vehicle using a solar cell comprises a solar cell(100), a secondary cell(200), a charging control device(150), and a black box(300). The solar cell is installed outside a vehicle and converts sunlight into electric energy. The secondary cell is charged with the converted electric energy. The charging control device controls the charging of the secondary cell. The black box receives power from the secondary cell and collects the driving information of the vehicle. When an event occurs, the black box transmits the driving information of the vehicle to a remote monitoring device(500) through wireless communications.
