PURPOSE: A device for transferring material is provided to reduce damage to a side guide part due to the contact with a material by revising the slanted transfer direction of the material. CONSTITUTION: A device for transferring material comprises a transfer roller part and a side guide part(200). The transfer roller part transfers the material rolled with the rolling mill. The transfer roller part comprises a tilting roller part(110) revising the deflection transfer of a material. The tilting roller part comprises a tilting roller(111), a first rotary motor(112), a first plate(113) and a second plate(116). The tilting roller transfers the material. The tilting roller is rotated around the center of the tilting roller in the deflection transfer of the material. The first rotary motor is connected to the tilting roller and supplies turning effect to the tilting roller. The first plate is combined with a first hinge plate using a first hinge. The second plate is combined with a second hinge plate using a second hinge. The side guide part locates on the upside of the transfer roller part. The side guide part guides the transfer of a material. The side guide part comprises a first side guide and a second side guide.
