PURPOSE: An LED drive data generating apparatus and method thereof are provided to give visual effect to a light emitting device which uses an LED module. CONSTITUTION: A pointer selecting unit(1) selects the location of a pointer in a digital image. A data input unit(2) inputs data of a pixel in which the pointer locates. A data storing unit(3) stores data inputted by the data input unit by frame. A controller(4) controls the location selection of the pointer. The controller controls to store data of the data input unit to the data storing unit.
