PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing quicklime is provided to prevent the formation of byproducts due to fine dust from a quicklime manufacturing process by suppressing the contact of flame with respect to the inner surface of a casing material. CONSTITUTION: A limestone inlet(11) and a quicklime outlet(12) are arranged at one side and another side of a quicklime manufacturing apparatus. A casing unit(10) includes a limestone plasticizing space. A burner heats the limestone by generating flame in the casing unit. An air spraying unit(40) sprays air into the casing unit from the upper side of the burner. The air spraying unit includes a spraying nozzle(41) and an air supplying part(42). The spraying nozzle sprays air into the casing unit. The air supplying part supplies air through the spraying nozzle.
