PURPOSE: A switching mode power supply is provided to prevent noises from being diffused or transferred to the outside by interlinking the ground to a cover shield and muting the noises in the cover shield. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(50) is shielded by a cover shield(55). An electromagnetic wave noise is blocked to be transferred from the core(53) of the transformer to the outside. A cover shield is connected to a ground terminal(56) which is connected to the primary side coil(51) of the transformer. The cover shield is connected to the ground terminal(57) which is connected to the secondary side coil(52) of the transformer.
